Carmencita Flan with Sugar and Caramel: the classic dessert that never fails.
Ingredients
Flan:
Sugar, thickener (carrageenan), flavors, sunflower oil, and colorings (E160b (ii) and curcumin).
Caramel:
Sugar, glucose syrup, water, coloring (natural caramel), acidulant (citric acid), and preservative (potassium sorbate).
Does not contain gluten.
Instructions for preparing 5 flans (1 packet)
- Cover the molds with the liquid caramel.
- Put 500 ml of milk in a saucepan. Add 1 flan packet (65 g) and dissolve.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until it starts to boil.
- Pour into the containers and chill for 1 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
Instead of covering the bottom of the container with caramel, you have another option: add the liquid caramel packet and the flan mix contents to the milk. This way, you can enjoy the intense caramel flavor in every spoonful.
You can also add two tablespoons of instant coffee (8 g) to the milk and get a delicious coffee flan.
