Carmencita Classic Flan: the same flavor as always, now easier to prepare.
Ingredients
Corn starch, thickener (E-407), flavoring and colorants (E-160a(ii) and E-101i)
Gluten-free. No added sugar. Low in fat.
Instructions for preparing 5 flans (1 packet)
- Put 500 ml of milk in a saucepan. Add 1 packet of flan (5 g), 3-4 tablespoons of sugar (60 g), and dissolve completely.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until it starts to boil.
- Pour into containers and let cool for 1 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
You can prepare the liquid caramel for the bottom of the container yourself:
- Put 2 tablespoons of sugar (40 g), 2 tablespoons of water (20 g), and a splash of lemon juice in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until a light caramel color is obtained. Instead of sugar, you can use 5 g of Carmencita granulated Saccharin to make the flan. Add it at the end of cooking and stir well. Then, pour the mixture into the containers.
